After stuffing ourselves with a delicious brunch at Kihei Cafe, Jennie chatted with her husband (currently deployed in Iraq), while Kate and I strolled to our car rental. THEN, out of nowhere, LEAPED out Ninjas! Jennie immediately shoved Kate and I to the bushes and postured herself in self-defense.
After a struggle of but a few minutes, she bravely multi-tasked to save Kate and I, win and then make peace with these new Ninja friends, take a photo with them in mock warfighting stance while still sporting her birthday tiara, stall her husband on the phone so he could not sense imminent danger, and support a marketing campaign against Philip Morris (the real ninjas behind the Ninjas).
Happy Birthday, to the most SHAZAM Ninja of them all!
Later on that evening, after again stuffing ourselves with the most delicious "Big Night Out" Four Course Fondue Meal at the Melting Pot in Lahaina, Kate and I decided to honor our Jennie with a little Happy B-Day video.
